Hi Dave,

You can find the EE mapping for the ESS sensors in the attachment.
It includes the mapping for both temperature sensors (4 pairs per Quadrant, 470 Ohms NTC thermistors) 
and water leak sensors (1 sensor-cable per Dee, terminated with 87 kOhms).

I hope it contains all the information you might need.

I forward back to you an email you kindly sent in April last year with respect to PTM positions on Dees 1-4.

Q1 - We are now writing the CRAFT papers - and we need to be sure of the info we write. 
You mention that only some of the probes on the backplates of Dees 1 and 2 are read out
 - and that these should be as for Dees 3 and 4. Could you put a red circle/comment
around these PTMs on Dees 1 & 2?

Q2 - Could you do similar picture(s) for the PTMs on the front environmental screen(s)?

Q3 - We believe 24 PTM are readout from each Dee. Is this correct?
     If there are 4 on the BP, 4 on the screen, where are the other 16?
     Could you do a map? 

Q4 - where are all the ESS probes - can you do a map? Are they PT100 or PT1000?
     How many per Dee? Is it 16?

Q5 - Where are the 4 Humidity Monitors per Dee? Map possible?

Q6 - Are there any other probes to take into account?

It would be very nice to have all this in one ppt file - if you agree!

Dear all,

PTM probes are installed (by Diogo and me) last Friday on Dee-4 backplate.
Please find the mapping (all 4x Dee's) in the attached file.

Note:  Dee-1/2 have more probes installed (historically) but
       only 4x will be used in the final readout!
       (namely those which correspond to Dee-3/4 mappings)


Probably, in this week we will install PTM probes on
Dee-1 cooling blocks (actually entry/exit pipes).
Will let you know when done.

Etiennete, I will send you the calibration data and EE probe naming/mapping
legend (PTM_01 .. PTM_24, HM_01 .. HM_04) -- as soon as we have locations on the thermal screen frozen.
(it's the only unclear mapping for now)
