From there we need 3 different lengths of ruggedized fibers (3 circles of box positions inside the Dee). The fibers are ending each time at a 4-way Diamond MF-B1 connector. In the patch panel the MF-B2 and MF-B3 are installed. Towards the outside we start from there with 4 MF-A2 connectors and their 4 ruggedized ribbons running 21m (minimum) to 35m (maximum) through the ducts towards the beginning of the cable chain to a transfer box (ruggedized ribbon to Ericson cable). For the Diamond stuff MF-B1-3, MF-A2 see: http://www.diamond-fo.com/products/datasheets/MFS_e.pdf http://www.diamond-fo.com/frameset.asp?content=http://www.diamond.ch/users/common/dhome.htm?origin=www.diamond.ch We ordered samples of the stuff needed at the patch panel to verify our design. It should arrive soon at CERN. See you soon in GVA, cheers, Wolfgang
