Minutes of Quick Calorimetry Meeting  5-11-99.
Present:  KWB, RMB, DJAC, PSF, BWL, ALL.
PSF   Found references to and carried out calculations on
      diffusion of Helium in glasses. Re working and cross
      checking calculations for presenting to meeting.
      This generated a discussion on possible sealing
      methods and how we would set up tests.
      RMB had noted that a partial pressure of helium of
      0.025Pa would cause VPT failure while 50Pa would
      give sparking at 4mm electrode spacing.

RMB   Summarised results from Photonis VPT's to date,
      has communicated results to Photonis but no feed
      back so far.

KWB   Meeting to discuss HT with JC and MT, will be
      giving ECal talk to visit on Monday in test beam
      area.

BWK   Moving simulation jobs using CMSim from CERN to RAL.

DJAC  Working on trying to improve our crystal delivery
      situation.
      Peter Denes will visit RAL, possibility that Tony
      Lodge may be able to help with their design work.
      Bristol keen to work on VFE boards.
      Len working with Justin Greenhalgh on FEA thermal
      problems for EE.

ALL   Testing Photonis VPT's. Unpacked 5x5 from CERN,
      working on mechanics for mounting on traversing
      table in test beam. Assembling display for visit
