Quick VPT Test Rig meeting - minutes

Date of meeting: 22 September 2000

Venue: RAL

Present: PSF, BWK, ALL, MS, AMT, JHW

1. VPTs: 30 arrived.  ALL has crimped pins to one VPT, which is now installed in the single test can. JHW has scanned the passports, which are on the web.
2. Hardware: To improve uniformity of illumination, can design modified to block direct light & illuminate photocathode via a perspex diffuser.  Some slippage of drive belt encountered during rig rotation - belt tension will be improved to cure this.  ALL has finished & tested current leakage box.
3. Software: Windows 98 installed on run control PC - some changes have been made to the control programs to cope with this.
