Quick VPT Test Rig meeting - minutes

Present: P Flower, B Kennedy, D Makarov, M Sproston

1. Noise and pickup: MS/DM working on noise reduction.   Screened one signal cable with earthed braid; VPT circuitry modified to match final SC version.  Little effect on noise - will make further modifications to try to suppress 50Hz noise.
2. Hardware: ALL still progressing with Row 3.
3. Amplifiers: Dave Cussans reports that the new preamp cards were shipped from Bristol on 1/11/2001, so should arrive today or next Monday.
