Quick VPT Test Rig meeting - minutes

Date of meeting: 26 October 2001

Venue: RAL

Present: P Flower, B Kennedy, L Lintern, D Makarov, M Sproston

1. Hardware: ALL has finished second single-channel test box.  Row 3 under way.
2. Amplifiers: New preamp cards have arrived in Bristol for testing.  No word yet from Dave Cussans concerning shipping to RAL.
3. Photodiode work: MS/DM now see a signal from the photodiode after two modifcations to the rig: added a mesh inside the VPT can to screen the VPT pulse, and screened the signal lead with a earthed Cu braid.
