Quick VPT Test Rig meeting -

Present: PSF, BWK, ALL, MS, JHW
- Status of rig: Rig is back in action after power
supply problems. Initial test runs indicate that the data quality is back to normal.
The diagnosis of the problem was complicated by the fact that both the original
power supply and the backup had similar faults on the -6V rail. More power supplies
will be brought back from CERN. 3 will be needed - 1 for the supercrystal area, and
two spares. The water supply has been reconnected after the disruption caused by the
beamline work.
- Rig development: ALL has finished the mechanics for
Row 4. MS needs some time to set up the electronics.
