Quick VPT Test Rig meeting - minutes

Date of meeting: 20 February 2004

Present: KWB, PSF, BWK, ALL, MS, JHW

1. Status of rig: In production.  Current batch of new VPTs should be finished early next week.  Then test running.
   1. Try switching off HT when VPTs are rotated
   2. Scan in reverse direction with known noisy tubes
2. Hardware: Refurbished row (old row E) should be ready next week.  This row will be installed as row C - MS will prepare preamps.  Row D will be next for refurbishing.
3. VPT storage: 4 new fridges have arrived in R12.
4. Single-channel test system: BWK & CL saw noise from one VPT this week.  Some software problems preventing long runs - will need advice from OS.
