Quick VPT Test Rig meeting -

Date of meeting: 9 January 2004
Present: PSF, BWK, CL, MS, JHW
- Status of rig: Maintenance almost finished.
Row E replaced with new row - old row E will be refurbished and reinstalled at the
next maintenance period.
- Visual inspection rig: Will move to the Lab 7
darkroom next week. Will need flat screen in darkroom, as space is limited.
- VPTs: 400 new tubes received from RIE on 7/1/04 (up
to bar-code 7300).
- Single-channel test can: Tony Lodge has the
existing single-chanel can. ALL is making another for long-term stability test
system - should be ready early next week.
- Safety: Warning lights and interlocks for HT and
magnet in progress.
