Aim of the Forum
The Forum will provide an opportunity for discussions among different HEP communities. This year, talks will review the latest results on the Higgs and on physics Beyond the Standard Model, with a mixture of experimental and theoretical speakers.
The talks are by invited speakers, with plenty of time scheduled for discussion.
Presentations will review the latest experimental news released at the summer conferences, as well as their theoretical interpretations and the future prospects. It will provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas, methods and tools, within the UK HEP community.
This should be a good occasion both for experimentalists and theorists to hold informal discussions and for young physicists to familiarise themselves with the LHC hottest topics. In addition, the Forum will feature a poster session where UK PhD students are invited to present their work.
