  • creates galaxies, but cannot explain large scale superstructure

• Best scenario 70% CDM 30% HDM

• Seed for baryonic matter to gravitationally aggregate

• Hot DM - massive neutrinos

  • fast moving particles (hot)
  • Simulations of galaxy formation present problems (HDM creates large scale structure)
