How it Works
The description on each HTML tag page contains a legend in the
following format:
Support Key:
2 | 3 |
3.2 |
IE2 | M2.1 |
N3
The letter codes and colors correspond to the list shown below. You will
also notice a number or additional code letters appended to the browser
code in most situations. This indicates the first
version of that browser where support for
a given feature appeared. If there is no number appended, then the browser
has never supported the feature. NOTE: Both a
browser and an HTML standard can claim first support (red, italic face)
of a feature.
